Click Reply™ WM controls and optimises inbound processes based on inbound shipment visibility through to the storage of materials in the warehouse in the best location or the area specified by the system and/or selected by the user.
Inbound goods prediction can address production or acquisition orders received with different shipments, or effective shipments in terms of packages and/or articles, quantities or other attributes. At the moment of acquisition via EDI, web portal or Excel import, ASN and/or PO interfaces enable total visibility at different levels of aggregation.
Registration of documents via reconciliation with ASN and/or PO or, in their absence, direct entry in the shipment system which determines the official reception of the goods.
Together with "conventional" reception destined for replenishment of warehouse stock (to storage locations or directly to picking), Click Reply™ WM also supports Cross Docking functions, which helps reduce occupation of storage space in the warehouse. In Cross Docking, materials have already been assigned an order when received and so can continue their journey to the end customer with no need for storage.
Reconciliation with the Delivery Notes document and account status in automatic and user evaluated, rework, de-kitting, re-labelling, identification of appropriate in-warehouse destination, transfer or delivery to customer.
Click Reply™ WM enables control of automated processes and management of the variables and exceptions characteristic of inbound processes, permitting maximum control of qualitative and quantitative accuracy of incoming materials and optimised management of the deposit of goods in the warehouse.
Since it can handle different requirements within the same site or for the same customer, it can obtain improved performance in terms of activity phases and their follow-up, automated system processes, data to be handled and its mandatory or non-mandatory status. Some examples:
Manual or automatic allocation rules depending on management strategy, configured to take into account numerous factors such as article classifications, provenance, status and property of map.
Single or multi-article SKU management.
System-guided transfer to Quality Control as per configured rules (causal, supplier type or other logistics attributes of the incoming goods), determination of quantities to be subjected to control as a percentage of configured incoming quantities, with on-request transfer to Quality Control.
Incoming sorting via web, RF or interface with automatic sorter to rationalise put-away operations and warehouse space. Sorting rules and compatibility configured by system and physical status of goods, supplier, owner and wide range of article attributes, map and incoming delivery slip.
User-configured content and layout, automatic and/or on-demand generation.
Temporary parking of material received in by-pass mode, pending order for its immediate shipment to the end customer.
The inventory process oversees the optimisation of warehouse space, track and trace, with registration of the correct stock and its owners in single containers, with location and visibility of system-registered stock in total, by status, from incoming goods forecasts to check-out for shipment to the end customer.
Click Reply™ WM supports articulated logistics operations thanks to multi-site and multi-depositor management: each customer is associated to different maps, storage, withdrawal and internal movement logics. Data viewed is filtered according to user profiles to present only the customer information relevant to the user.
Physical and system warehouse log, system-only warehouse management, internal movements for compacting and relocating, management by batch, version, reception date, release, expiry, quarantine, FIFO. Random and pre-assigned maps.
Generated automatically or on-demand as per analysis and on the basis of minimum and maximum stock levels as configured by article and by location.
Supported by printed lists or RF functionality, user-commanded physical inventories by different criteria (area, location, articles, system status etc.) enable immediate visibility of system vs. physical situation. Tolerance of quantities and threshold values via immediate generation of successive counts.
From inventory class ABC to different article classifications, users can configure the criteria which govern the automatic generation of count records for article sub-groups and goods in stock and execution of counts supported by RF functionality, with no need to interrupt warehouse operations. Corrections are automatic and on-the-fly, on condition that they meet the established tolerance criteria; conversely, they can also be checked, confirmed and deleted.
